BACE Nutrition, a pilot project for one of our B2B clients, sought to enter the market of nutrition supplements by creating a 100% digital subscription business brand. The goal was to transition three of their core OEM products into B2C subscription or retail packages, leveraging the US market as a testbed due to their established distribution partnerships.
WellPal Creative (WPC) was enlisted to apply four of our innovative solutions: WellPal Signature Visuals™ and WellPal Ideation & Prototyping (WIP)™ in the first phase, followed by WellPal Brand Navigator™ and WellPal Brand Evolution Suite™ in the second phase. This approach underscores the importance of a phased strategy, allowing for iterative refinement and responsive adjustments based on market feedback – a valuable lesson for businesses venturing into new markets or product lines.
In the first phase, our objective was to evolve the idea into a comprehensive brand concept that the internal organization could evaluate for feasibility with their partners. We meticulously designed every facet of the brand, from packaging and identity to the business model and marketing materials. This holistic approach demonstrated the power of a cohesive brand strategy, where every element works in harmony to create a compelling and consistent brand experience.
The testing phase concluded in Q2 2023, led to a successful pivot that better aligned with the brand’s main business model and required less additional investment. This pivot underlines the importance of flexibility and adaptability in business strategy, highlighting the value of our WIP and Brand Navigator solutions in guiding brands through such transitions.
Despite a delay due to internal restructuring, WPC is now engaged in the next phase, designing a new hybrid business model for food and nutrition aggregation and distribution. The visually striking brand and product concept developed in the first phase is still under consideration and is being used in discussions with potential external investors.
