Job story framework

The WellPal JTBD Job Story Framework is  a tool I designed for use with my clients and may own brands, it is used in combination with the JTBD cards.

It is a used for understanding a specific struggling moment in the customers life.

You can think of Job Stories as micro-struggles or micro-jobs. These are the individual situations that prompt a customer to seek a solution for a JTBD.

Different customers can share the same Job story.

Easy oversight of designing the JTBD and value proposition of brands and companies.

They are also very convenient to use when mapping your competitor landscape.

The Job Story framework is

It is not a magic cheatsheet. It is simply a tool in our bigger toolkit for building a proper brand strategy.

They don’t offer strategies on what to innovate on or sell, but they equip us with a structured language and principles of customer motivation.

If we plan this properly, that can can in turn shape our strategy much more effective and easy.

That said,  they help me a lot so I want to offer them to those who subscribe to my content for free.

I recommend you to use them in any app such as GoodNotes5 or print them out. Consider them elements in a framework.

When adding them in GoodNotes5 it’s very convenient to write on the cards and erase or duplicate when needed.

After you’ve played around with them and are confident you have gotten down to the true “JOB TO BE DONE” for your customers, you can start shaping the “JOB STORY FRAMEWORK”.

You will receive downloadable pdf and png files.
