project planner

The actual word “to-do” tends to deter a lot of us from actually doing it.

Our hyper focus project planning worksheets will help you to lay a foundation for narrowing down your focus. They are designed to tackle any task in a more productive manner than generic “to-do lists” by focusing on a single (micro or meso) thing at a time. A hyper focus project plan is composed of several of these smaller tasks, in order to build the bigger picture (the macro).

Suggestion: Start focusing with the macro and then zoom in with micros and mesos – discover how your work becomes more productive.

Do you feel that your day seems to be sucked away by the constant distractions that buzz in from your computer, smartphone, and tablet?

I did. That’s why this purposely designed as a sheet-format tool and not another app (not everything has to be an app).

For me personally I print them out and write. As I experienced when I do this, it actually makes me THINK and PLAN the big project challenges before I start.

I felt that for certain aspects of productivity relying on technology has an averse effect.

It is not another crunch for you to rely on and implement in a copy-paste style approach.

It is designed to be as flexible and free to use for any given project at hand. Take advantage of that.

It is not intended to be static. You should iterate and evolve it as you use it for your own personal development.

As mentioned before the optimal way is still print-out as there is nothing more hyper focused then pen to paper.

For big projects such as a brand identity design or app design, I tend to print out 5-6 sheets and file them together (small binder). This file will then be my MACRO.

Each individual “Chronicle sheet” will be a phase (MESO) in that big project. We just record the essentials of things that need to get done. That is the beauty of this simplistic sheet, we don’t need always need the bells and whistles that come with project management apps.

For smaller scale projects I use one Chronicle and most of the time I upload it in my Goodnotes 5 app on the iPad (BEST note filing app everrr).

I have folders for all my personal projects as well as client projects on Goodnotes 5 so for me personally it’s easy to add the Chronicles there and keep track of all things related to that specific project in one place.

You will receive a downloadable pdf for the Chronicle sheets.

With each proof of purchase you will have access to lifetime updates and revisions to the Chronicle sheets.

I will design more formats to come in the next months. These may become separate products with separate prices. However anyone who has purchased this specific product will have access to those (genesis privileges of sorts).

A “scatter-brain” approach is not always a bad thing (think when you want to be creative or explore ideas) but sometimes in the entrepreneurial process, you need to focus. This is where this approach is essential.

It’s easy to put a bunch of things on a to-do list and in the end, feel as if nothing significant has been accomplished. This results in starting projects with all the right intentions and energy only to find yourself running around in circles and abandoning the thing altogether.

There are many ways to go about improving productivity and not one of them is a “one-size fits all.”

Use the Chronicles consistently for a period of time that it becomes a habit, while doing so apply critical thinking and iterate the Chronicles to be of more use to your specific type of focus needed.

Enjoy and hope it helps you build your instruments.
